About ATELIER NOIR
Architecture for people
who treat their home
like it will outlive them.
ATELIER NOIR opened in 2012 above a hardware store on Talbot Street. The practice was built around one habit: draw it, then go stand in it. We measure the existing house ourselves. We visit the site in the morning and again at dusk. The drawings come after that, not before.
Six architects on staff. RAIC member firm. We sit with contractors during construction. We site-visit on a schedule. We don't hand you a beautiful drawing and disappear.
Concept consultations are flat-fee. Full projects are percentage-of-build. We don't hourly-bill — clients shouldn't pay for our learning curve.
